Local support group meetings are held the 3rd Friday of each month at 7 p.m. (6:30 for new members). Meetings are held at St. Joseph Education Annex, 3030 E. 29th St at the corner of E. 29th and Broadmoor in Bryan. The mission of this group is to provide support for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. Their goals are to increase the diagnosis rate of celiac disease, provide gluten-free food options and information, and provide a forum for social opportunities among those with similar dietary restrictions.

This group serves the North Texas community with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and dermatitis herpetiformis. They meet the first Saturday of the month and offer a free 3-hour Celiac 101 class at every meeting. They sell cookbooks and a restaurant guide with over 90 pages of information on eating out in the DFW area. They also have a NTGIG Kid’s Club for celiac kids. They are a non-profit organization and a branch of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America.

They teach people how to read labels, shop, cook, go out to eat, and travel as safely as possible. They have a Gluten-Free Gourmet Dining Club for members and their guests. Camano Island Celiac Support Group (CDF) We meet 1-2:30 p.m. every third Saturday at the Camano Island Multi Purpose Center- 141 N East Camano Drive, Camano Island 98282. Free.
