This group serves the North Texas community with celiac disease, gluten intolerance, and dermatitis herpetiformis. They meet the first Saturday of the month and offer a free 3-hour Celiac 101 class at every meeting. They sell cookbooks and a restaurant guide with over 90 pages of information on eating out in the DFW area. They also have a NTGIG Kid’s Club for celiac kids. They are a non-profit organization and a branch of the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America.

They provide information on where to buy gluten-free groceries (including what to buy and what to avoid) and dining gluten free. They share recipes and hold taste testings.
